Some people find their way back to nature. I never really left.

I'm Cherie, the founder of Whitetail Jewelry, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I grew up in a small town along the Mississippi River, where the woods, water, and wildlife weren't just scenery — they were home. The outdoors shaped how I see the world, and that perspective has never left me.

When my kids came along, I made a choice that felt natural: move to the country and raise them the way I was raised — with muddy boots, open skies, and a deep respect for the wild things around us.

Whitetail Jewelry started with a simple frustration: I couldn't find jewelry that spoke to me. As someone who loves animals and the natural world, I kept searching for pieces that reflected that — something beautiful, wearable, and rooted in the wild. They didn't exist, so I created them.

Every piece in this collection is designed for the woman who feels most like herself when she's close to nature — whether that's a walk through the woods, a morning on the water, or simply wearing something that quietly says this is who I am.
